Having children officially rocks. My daughter, aged 8 and a half, is finally old enough to be both capable of and--maybe more importantly--willing to change the cat litter. Yussssss!!!! She's also feeding/watering the dogs, which is handy.

For some reason changing the litter is a task my son covets, but I won't let him do it for that very reason. I'm extremely suspicious of just what it is he finds so appealing about spooning cat waste.

He refuses to clean off the coffee table though. D:
